Taking place on International Women's Day with prominent activists on the line up, we wanted to invoke imagery of the women's suffrage movement and the ideas of intersectional feminism. Many of the day's performers were indigenous, so common symbolic colors for many tribes across political borders were used, including the traditional red used to call attention to the epidemic of murdered and missing indigenous women and two-spirit persons.
