Promotional materials for HotHouse Chicago's 2021 International Women's Day event. 
Given their list of events for the day, the style of the illustrations is a funkier interpretation of traditional socialist design, with inspiration drawn from the imagery of the women's suffrage movement and the ideas of intersectional feminism. Many of the day's performers were indigenous and many native voices speak out about the themes of the event, so I used common symbolic colors for many tribes across political borders, including the traditional red used to call attention to the epidemic of murdered and missing indigenous women and two-spirit persons.
